A great website refresh…thanks to Paola Syme. I continue to get letters from students and requests to do class visits for the Jigsaw Puzzle King. Recently I’ve been working on several new stories…inspired by my bees. 

The latest nomination for The Jigsaw Puzzle King is the 2022 Chocolate Lily Award. That’s on top of Winning the 2021 Silver Birch, and nominated for the Diamond Willow and the Rocky Mountain Book Awards. Wow…been a busy month for Bennie and Warren.

The Jigsaw Puzzle King has now been nominated for the 2022 Rocky Mountain Book Awards (Alberta’s Reader’s Choice Award). Super exciting news, along with the 2022 Diamond Willow nomination and the 2021 Silver Birch Awards win.

It’s so exciting that The Jigsaw Puzzle King won the Silver Birch Award. This is a great award. First, librarians and teachers choose the shortlist, and then the readers choose the final winner. It’s a great honour to win this award.

The Jigsaw Puzzle King is nominated for the 2021 Diamond Willow Awards — Saskatchewan’s Young Reader’s Choice Awards. Winners announced in May. That’s also when the Silver Birch Award winners are announced too.

Hot off the press –– a US company wants to publish The Jigsaw Puzzle King as an audio book in the new year. More details to come when it goes public.
